Warrior®(YCR 5 cv.) is a high alpha variety of recent origin developed by Yakima Chief Ranches. It is used both for its aromatic properties and especially for its bittering properties, due to its low cohumulone content. Alpha Acids 15 - 18% Beta Acids 4.5 - 5.5% Cohumulone (% of alpha acids) 24% Total Oils (Mls. per 100 grams dried hops) 1.0 - 2.0 Myrcene (as % of total oils) 40 - 50% Caryophyllene (as % of total oils) 8.0 - 10% Humulene (as % of total oils) 15 - 20% Farnesene (as % of total oils) < 1.0% Possible Substitutions: Nugget, Columbus, Magnum
